An Explosion-Proof Certificate is a certification issued for equipment used in flammable and explosive hazardous locationss, complying with the GB/T 3836 series of standards.
The application process for an Explosion-Proof Certificate by enterprises is relatively straightforward. It is necessary to submit document materials such as the product’s electrical schematic diagrams, general assembly drawings, structural drawings, product manuals, and enterprise standards, as well as provide samples consistent with the drawings for explosion-proof testing.
Upon passing the test, an Explosion-Proof Test Report and Explosion-Proof Certificate will be issued.
At present, the main certificate-issuing institutions for Explosion-Proof Certificates include CNEX (Nanyang), PCEC (Tianjin), NEPSI (Shanghai), various Coal Science Research Institutes, and the Suzhou Electrical Apparatus Research Institute.
All these institutions hold complete qualification for certificate issuance, and the validity of the certificates is uniform. Despite the simple process, it is not easy for products to meet the design requirements of the relevant GB/T 3836 series standards.
